Drupes

We love the black-and-white spotted pattern of drupes — I like to call them “mini soccer balls” 🤪. These distinct shells come in small and large sizes and are a favorite for pairing with other shells. They are most commonly found near shallow reefs and rocky shores, where their inhabitants hunt and thrive.

At Salt & Water Co., we never keep shells with living creatures inside. If a shell is occupied, we carefully return it to its habitat. Any shells or beach treasures not used in our designs are also returned, reflecting our commitment to giving back to the place we call home and upholding ethical, sustainable practices. All shells are handpicked by me with love and care on O’ahu.
