What is 14k Gold Filled vs. Sterling Silver? 💛

14K Gold Filled: Real 14k gold tubing bonded to a base metal. It’s higher quality than gold-plated jewelry and won’t peel, crack, or change your skin tone. 14k gold filled can last just as long, sometimes even longer, then sterling silver.

Sterling Silver: 92.5” real silver, durable, and most cost-effective

Do you do repairs? 🛠️

Yes! Free repairs are available within 15 days of purchase for any manufacturing defect. Shipping costs for repairs are the customer’s responsibility. Please send an email to saltandwatercohawaii@gmail.com for more help or support!

Do custom orders cost more than ready-made designs? 🌺

Sometimes, depending on cost of materials, complexity, time, and labor required. Many ready-made designs can also be made for similar pricing (availability may vary).

How to best care for your jewelry? 🧼

• Treat your pieces with love and care — many designs are dainty and delicate <3

• Rinse with freshwater after ocean swims + sweaty workouts

• To gently clean: soak in warm soapy water and then gently scrub with a soft toothbrush

• For a deeper clean: use a tarnish remover or polishing cloth (my personal favorites: Sunshine Polishing Cloth & Pro Pad Polishing Pads)

• Store safely to avoid accidental scratches, damages, etc.

I’ve personally worn my jewelry daily — in the ocean, shower, shell diving, working out and more — and it still looks amazing! While I don’t recommend constant overuse, this shows how durable and high-quality the materials and designs are.
